the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Endoscopy RN in Rockford, Illinois, 61103! Job Title:
Endoscopy Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Nurse
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8
hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Licensed as a
RN in Illinois Certifications: Approved CPR/BLS and ACLS
certification required Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited nursing
program. ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred. Description:
Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with
interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administers
prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved
nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and
state laws. Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and
evaluation of care. Documents according to standards of care.
Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according
to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by
Physician and clinic policy, including patient and family
instruction. Participates in department or unit performance
improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
Utilizes clinical expertise and guidance to other units in support
of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care. Employs critical
thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and
escalates appropriately to the chain of command. Actively
participates in the professional nursing continuum process, unit
practice activities and decisions, and peer review process. Offers
ideas and solutions to practice issues. Uses innovative methods and
intuitive skills to develop and implement plans of care. Provides
innovative ways to educate patients and families. Initiates
interdisciplinary collaboration to meet the patient and family
educational needs. Actively participates in mentoring and
precepting new partners. Positively influences the professional
environment and shared governance. Engages in personal development
and supports opportunities for continuous learning and growth,
including developing or revising evidence-based practice
guidelines. Actively participates in departmental or unit
performance improvement activities, which may include shared
governance. Participates in holiday coverage as required. 5
