continuing to expand nationwide. Hoffenmer Inc. is seeking a Client
Acquisition Specialist to support new and aspiring motor carriers
as they begin their journey. This is a consultative,
relationship-focused role designed for someone who can educate,
guide, and build trust—not pressure or “sell.” You will work
directly with individuals who have recently obtained (or are in the
process of obtaining) a new DOT number. These clients are often
overwhelmed by the number of agencies contacting them. Your role is
to act as a trusted specialist and compliance concierge, helping
them understand what they truly need to operate safely and remain
compliant. This is a sales position, but it is not cold calling and
not a high-pressure environment. Success in this role comes from
building confidence, providing clarity, and establishing long-term
relationships. Responsibilities - Connect with new and prospective
motor carriers to guide them through DOT compliance requirements -
Educate clients on the importance of compliance, safety, and
avoiding costly violations - Provide a clear, honest, and
simplified path to becoming fully compliant - Present a
value-driven compliance program designed to eliminate unnecessary
services and costs - Build trust through a calm, professional, and
reassuring communication style - Serve as a long-term partner, not
a one-time salesperson - Support clients in making informed
decisions that protect their business - Maintain accurate records
of client interactions and progress - Collaborate with internal
teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience What Makes This Role

experience in sales, client relations, account management, or
consulting - Strong ability to build trust and communicate with

client-first mindset - Strong listening skills and emotional
intelligence - Organized and detail-oriented - Comfortable working
in a structured, in-office environment Preferred Qualifications -
Mature, polished, and professional presence - Consultative mindset
(educator vs. salesperson) - Naturally calm, patient, and
empathetic - Able to establish authority without being aggressive -
Motivated by helping clients succeed long-term - Values stability,
