Job Description:
NTN has an immediate opening in our Industrial Aftermarket Sales
Department for an Account Executive. Description: This position
reports to the VP of Industrial Aftermarket Sales and is tasked
with building relationships and growing our business with select
strategic customers. Account assignments may change, with many of
the initial assignments coming from the markets of Construction
Equipment (CE), Electric Motor (EM), Machine Tool (M/T),
Agriculture (AG), Catalog distributors (CAT), Wind Energy (WE), and
Oil & Gas (O&G). Responsibilities Include: Manage the customer
facing relationships of the key target accounts, working from
guidance and program structures created by an internal team.
Leverage the product offering, programs, and established market
presence to generate new business at the target accounts. An Annual
Sales target will be established based on account assignments.
Conduct regular customer business reviews (QBRs) to maintain
relationships, focus on business development, and follow up on
action items, as well as understanding and communicating to the
internal team around opportunities to modify our strategy, expand
our offering, or improve our services. Report the QBR and other
significant customer activity to VP of Industrial Aftermarket Sales
and the President of NBCA. Reporting to be done through detailed
call reports that include the original agenda, meeting
participants, discussion points, and action items. Spend an equal
amount of time (1-2 weeks) in our corporate office working with
various NBCA departments to ensure projects and opportunities are
completed from the NTN side. Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor’s
degree, or 4-year technical undergraduate degree. Engineering
degree a plus. Competent knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment
and industries. 5 – 7 years of experience in Industrial sales.
Possess market knowledge as it pertains to the bearing or PT
industry. Comfortable calling on Distributors and End Users to
Value Sell products and services. Capable of calling on multiple
levels of an organization from Staff level to Executives. Ability
to contribute to the team immediately, be a self-starter, and can
learn quickly. Ability to travel multiple nights per month and have
excellent time management skills. Travel likely 30-50%. High
proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience
with CRM recommended. Team player with very strong organizational
and analytical skills.
