Job Description:

This internship is designed for student who are CURRENTLY ENROLLED in a degree program at their junior or senior year with an anticipated graduation date between May 2023 - August 2024; and postgraduates with a graduation date within 12 months from the start of the internship. As a FedEx intern, you will be working on projects getting you valuable, real-world experience. This position can be domiciled remotely. Key Responsibilities: Under close supervision, the successful candidate will help sell FedEx transportation services to potential and existing business customers. Responsibilities will include: Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) to identify opportunities, help close new business, and assist with any customer facing issues their aligned AEs may have. Plan calls with aligned customers and then prospect for new business around those accounts. Participate in the entire sales process with your aligned AEs to do pricings, implementation plans, and follow up visits to secure new business. Perform joint rides with your Sales Manager and assigned mentor. Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program 3.0 GPA Availability to work 40 hours per week between June and August 2023 Resume should include the following information: email address, telephone number, name of college/university, degree, major, GPA, date of intended graduation (month and year) Preferred Qualifications: Strong work ethic, initiative, resilience, adaptability, relationship-building skills, reliability, responsiveness, oral/written communication skills, innovation, and problem resolution skills Experience in sales and/or sales competitions Proven track record of success A desire for a career in sales The company does not offer immigration sponsorship for the permanent position(s) that will be offered to successful interns who are hired into the Foundations Program or full-time entry level positions.
