Job Description:

Kelly, in partnership with a growing manufacturer, is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor in Des Plaines, IL.
This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be hired directly with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire.

**Details:**
Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Pay: $75,000 - $80,000 annually
**Positions:**
+ Receiving of all raw materials and packaging.
+ Sampling of FDA raw material for Lab analysis.
+ Segregation of materials until approved for use by quality.
+ Segregation of all oxidizing and flammable materials.
+ Coordinate the picking, packing, and staging of customer orders.
+ Ensure the proper loading of all products for transportation.
+ Ensure all shipments meet CFR49 standards.
+ Proper processing of all transactions in SAP.
+ Put away of manufactured products.
+ Warehouse and bin maintenance.
+ Proper maintenance of equipment and facility.
+ Ordering MRO items when necessary.
+ Safety compliance and training.
+ Creating and communicating daily performance measures.
+ 5S and Lean Manufacturing activities and initiatives
**Requirements:**
+ 3+ years of experience in a similar role with leadership experience.
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Hazmat certification CFR49
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well with all parts of the organization
+ Ability to work well under pressure and assist team under pressure
