Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance & Business Planning, the -Financial Planning Analyst will deliver valued information via actual, forecast, operating plan, and management reporting. This is an integral role in collaborating closely with numerous cross-functional teams to analyze and impact business results, support the business performance presentation to upper management, as well as leading ad hoc projects. We provide fully paid health insurance premiums and generous HSA contribution, 10 paid Holiday plus Paid Time Off/PTO, competitive 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and more. -Additionally, we offer community involvement opportunities and career growth opportunities.Responsibilities+ Prepare consolidation of monthly P vs. plan/LBE/ LY, including volume, NNS, EVA, financial bridges, hedging reporting, historical trends, and SG performance+ Assist in the preparation and consolidation of the LBE, annual operating plan and marketing, and sales dialog financials+ Assist in the development and maintenance of budgeting, forecasting, and modeling tools+ Assist in the preparation of Board decks for upper management in partnership with business leaders and cross-functional finance partners+ Lead the monthly Finance / Check-in meeting and actively provide budget owners with specific, actionable, and forward-looking commentary on variances+ Assist in the development of a monthly P forecast and work with other finance associates as well as with Accounting to improve forecast accuracy -+ Assist in the preparation of business cases and financial modeling in collaboration with other HoA associates+ Assist in the preparation of Full Cost-Benefit analysis+ Assist in the month-end financial close of assigned components of the P including identification and resolution of unusual items in a timely manner+ Assist Senior Finance Director in the support to internal and external auditors+ Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned areas along with support analysis/ back up+ Other duties as assignedQualifications+ A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required+ Minimum 2.5 -years of experience in Finance or Accounting in CPG industry -+ Experience working with SAP is a must-have+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times for deliverable+ Ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization is required+ Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, and analytical skills are required+ Demonstrated proficiency with MS ExcelPreferred Qualifications+ Master's Degree/ MBA, CMA or CPA or other financial certification preferred+ Knowledge of business operations, preferably in the consumer-packaged-goods (CPG) industry+ Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects while ensuring tasks get completed on a timely basis+ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel+ Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and change in a dynamic business environment+ Experience providing support cross-functionally is a plusWhat can you expect?You will be part of a successful family-run company with core values that is growing internationally faster than ever before.
