As we continue growing at a fast pace, will you "Dare to Grow" with us? YOUR ROLE CEVA -Logistics is currently hiring a -Regional -Brokerage Director -located in -Des Plaines, IL. Reporting to the VP, this position is accountable for the financial performance and overall delivery of service to customers through offices located on the Western and Southern Coasts of the United States. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Act -as the Customs Broker to oversee the regional Customs Brokerage operations to ensure compliance, manage KPI's & oversight of P&L. Monitor and manage the level of service being provided to ensure that the Company is meeting the clients' expectations and needs, retaining and growing the client base, and managing the cost structure and financial performance. Manage teams in multiple locations throughout the Western and Southern Coasts. Own the P&L for the region - revenue, cost and profit Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain high levels of client service and increase client loyalty
  • Retain current revenue, and grow revenue from existing clients; work with sales to gain and retain new clients
  • Manage costs closely and increase profits
  • Improve productivity through operational process improvements, workflow management, service excellence and automation
  • Bring an entrepreneurial approach to the company, and lead by example
  • Coach, mentor and improve the performance of direct reports
  • Collaborate with peers in other markets
  • Ensure your availability to the Team 24/7 should urgent client issues arise WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
    • Education and Experience: -
      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business or related field
      • 5-7 years of related experience in custom brokerage operations
      • Minimum 3 years Management experience in Multi-site Operations Environment
      • Required License or Certification:
        • Customs Brokerage License
        • Additional Skills and Experience that Contribute to Success:
        • P&L experience
        • Manager who can jump in and help the team complete tasks to meet deadlines
        • Experience leading a function with a complex process orientation for a service offering that requires a high-touch customer service experience outside of the industry will also be considered
        • Management skills desired: Training & development, quality management, Process Improvement, Problem Solving, and Data Analytics
        • Must be PC literate with an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications such as Tableau and Access
        • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with proven ability to turn findings into executable plans
