  • The Inorganics Laboratory Technician conducts routine samples analysis, preparation, and digestion with the use of instrumentation following official methods and laboratory Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).
    • Responsible for planning daily workflow, monitoring quality of procedures and proper technique, and communicating issues and needs to the Inorganics Manager.
      • Performs specific duties assigned by the Inorganics Manager to ensure that client service requests are met.
        • Must display motivation to see projects through to completion to meet client expectations.SPECIFIC DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
          • Conduct routine samples analysis such as distillations, digestions, titrations using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments.
            • Perform routine operation, maintenance, calibration, and trouble-shoots laboratory instruments.
              • Calculate tests results and report results using a computer and laboratory information management system.
                • Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures.
                  • Communicate to your manager the status of your workload as well as any data quality issues.
                    • Assist your manager in determining sources of problems (Corrective Actions Reports) and implementing any corrective actions to resolve those issues.
                      • Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
                        • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field preferred or relevant courses in Chemistry or Environmental Sciences
                        • 0-2 years' experience in Analytical Chemistry
                        • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, ExcelPowered by JazzHRIlris6KaL4
