We are a division of Abbott Laboratories, a global, diversified healthcare innovator with a legacy of pioneering work in medical diagnostics.Abbott Molecular Our Des Plaines, IL site has an opportunity for the Cybersecurity AnalystWHAT YOU WILL DO:The Cybersecurity Analyst reports into the Abbott Molecular Software R organization. The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for assisting and ensuring that Abbott Molecular division builds safe and secure products that are compliant with industry regulation and meet customer and patient security expectations.Responsibilities:Maintain divisional compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures including training.Collaborate with Product Cybersecurity team to develop and maintain cybersecurity risk management and vulnerability management processes and procedures and create and maintain a Secure Product Development Lifecycle process.Assist the product engineering team in writing cybersecurity requirements, test plans and testing.Apply risk management framework to product development and assist formulating mitigation plans.Document cybersecurity compliance.Complete STIGs for productsMonitor software applications and libraries for security vulnerability.Write and maintain secure software development processes, procedures, and other associated documentation and become a point of contact to customers for product cybersecurity related questions.Assist in completing/answering cybersecurity request questionnaires (CSR) from customers.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING:RequiredBachelor's degree (preferably in engineering, science or a closely related discipline is desired) or equivalent technical experience and demonstrated competence.At least 3 years of experience but typically 5 plus years of experience is required.Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and reporting, including analysis of results to effectively prioritize remediation efforts.Excellent written and verbal skillsAdept at communicating concepts to diverse audiences with varying skill set.PreferredPossess CISSP certification (or similar) and be knowledgeable of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks such as ISO, SOX, BASEL II, EU DPD, HIPAA, andStrong understanding of product cybersecurity and the relationship between threat, vulnerability and potential customer risk in the context of risk managementUnderstanding of medical product safety risk and the relationship with product cybersecurity risk.Previous work experience in a product cybersecurity role.Demonstrated knowledge or experience with medical device certifications from government agencies.WHAT WE OFFER:At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
