For more information visit www.uop.com.The Control System Project Engineer will partner with world class engineering and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell UOP-UPT-Key Equipment. An opening exists for a Program Specialist, Equipment, Process Information and Controls (PIC) in Des Plaines, IL.. You will be accountable for managing PIC control system projects. You will lead prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive performance.Key Responsibilities:---Control System Project Scope review---Control System Project Execution management through delivery---Primary customer interface throughout execution---Determine control system as well as work process improvements---Implement control system as well as work process improvements---Address Project barriers---Maintain ISO certificationYOU MUST HAVE:---Bachelors Degree Electrical Engineering/Chemical Engineering---3+ years of experience in Controls Engineering--WE VALUE:---Detailed design experience with Programmable Logic Controllers.---PLC network architecture understanding---Strong management operating system---Honeywell C300, Honeywell Safety Manager, Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Siemens S7, and Modicon PLC hardware experience.---Intrinsic Safety Barrier knowledge and Hazardous environment---AutoCAD working knowledge---Excellent organizational skills-----Excellent written and verbal communication skills---Ability to work in a collaborative team environment---Excellent problem-solving skills---Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives---Persuade to influence others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches---Business acumen - knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to discipline and application within the industryUOP102020Additional Information
