R&D Engr/Scientist - Sustainable Hydroprocessing to join
Honeywell UOP's Research and Development organization. This role
will lead and support the
development of new hydroprocessing process and catalyst
technologies that will
process renewable, circular plastic and conventional feeds to
provide
sustainable technology solutions to the energy industry. At
Honeywell UOP, you will have to

areas. This will provide a strong
foundation to take on higher level leadership roles to drive the
innovation and
development of more complex technologies. Position
Responsibilities:
Lead and drive projects to deliver integrated solutions for
upgrading sustainable or hybrid feedstocks (e.g., plastics,
renewable and conventional feeds) into valuable fuels and
petrochemicals. Enable vision for Conversion Outcomes in future
hybrid feedstock scenarios through advanced system engineering
methods including molecule management. Lead, or contribute as a
member on, cross functional teams including specialists from
R&D, Engineering, Technical Service and Manufacturing for the
development of new solutions for the conversion technology areas.
Develop and implement robust project plans to meet technology
delivery commitments on schedule and within budget constraints.
Lead pilot plant experimentation and drive model-based design of
experiments (MBDOE) approach to bring the effectiveness and
agility. Build awareness of the market, competition, and new
developments. Contribute to technology strategy development to
build a strong pipeline of sustainable solutions that will drive
growth.You Must Have:
B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry. 2+ years of experience
in a Technology, Engineering, Research & Development, or Technical
Service role within the refining and petrochemical industries. We
Value:
Strong interest and dedication to R&D work. Advanced degree
(MS, PhD) in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry. Strong
understanding of chemical engineering, catalysis and adsorbent
fundamentals and their application in the development of refining
and petrochemical process technology. Experience in using process
simulation tools such as UniSim and Aspen. Experience in developing
and executing experimental plans including the use of statistical
tools for data analysis. Additional Information
