Essential Functions: Assist in day to day of client---s functioning and reporting changes to his/her supervisor. Ensure client---s independence and dignity by assisting with household chores. Escort clients to outings, appointments, etc. in the community. Complete appropriate documentation. Improve the quality of life by following the client---s Plan of Care. Present an open, positive, professional image to all clients and individuals. Support clients with personal care needs, not limited to medication reminders. Position Qualifications: At least 18 years of age or older. Possess a high school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience in homecare. One year experience preferred in home care or human service field; or comparable experience care of a dependent child or adult family member Ability to use technology. Ability to show compassion for the needs of clients. Ability to read, write and speak English; and follow oral and written instructions.
