Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell UOP-UPT-Key Equipment. An opening exists for a Program Lead, Equipment, Process Information and Controls (PIC) in Des Plaines, IL.
As a key member of the project execution group within UPT, you will use your project management experience and technical knowledge to lead projects from start to finish delivering on time engineering basic design packages. The successful candidate will be a technical leader and able to quickly gather, analyze and apply relevant information to arrive at a broad understanding of problems and optimal solutions.
You will partner with world class engineering and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.Key Responsibilities:Project Scope Review
Accountable for project cost, quality, and schedule performance
Coordinate and manage the activities of a project team throughout the life cycle of a project from start to close-out phases
Resolution of technical solutions
Manage change orders and project close out
Address Project barriers
Provide Sales Support assistance
Provide Service Support assistance
Maintain ISO certificationYOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors Degree Electrical Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
10+ Years Controls Engineering Experience
5+ Years Project Management ExperienceWE VALUE
Strong management operating system
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Excellent problem-solving skills
Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives
