If you are a Customer Care professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Rosemont, Illinois location and reporting directly to the Manager of Global Customer Care, you will be responsible for order management of Asian export orders from Appleton local and overseas distributors. As a Global Customer Care Representative, you will have continuous communication with direct customers and distributors to provide feedback on open orders, respond to distributor and customer inquiries, provide lead times, and expedite orders as appropriate. You will also provide support to the Inside Sales Representatives as needed. You will succeed in this role if you successfully exercise sound judgement and use strong analytical skills to problem solve issues on behalf of the Global Customer Care team. AS A GLOBAL CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE, YOU WILL: Address customer inquiries by phone and other media and perform as liaison with sales, credit, manufacturing planners, buyers, shipping, traffic and compliance, forwarders and couriers, IT, and distributors on behalf of Inside Sales team Manage order and line holds applied to international orders Process credits and replacement for customers Complete all documents necessary to move shipments out of the country such as Airway Bill, Pro Forma Invoice, Bill of Lading, Harmonized Codes, and Internal Transaction Number for Automated Export System (AES) Handle export documentation such as Certificate of Origin and Certificate of Compliance for customers and other parties and file export shipment information via AES Assist in monitoring denied party list through MK Data Screening Tool Manage orders in Oracle for document completion and retention Support and actively participate in Perfect Execution and continuious improvement activities Perform back up and workload sharing activities within the Customer Support team WHO YOU ARE: You build the customer relationships and keep in touch. Qualifications : REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 2 year experience in domestic/export customer service including familiarity with documentation, transportation, logistics Experience working in an ERP system Excellent verbal and written communication as well as organizational skills Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a high stress environment Experience managing orders to and from Asia Legal authorization to work in the United States PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Bachelor's Degree Working experience in Oracle's ERP system Fluent in Mandarin A background check and drug screening are required for employment.
