Job Description:
Your work experience is from a regulated environment to include
strong quality control
Must have experience with MRP systems
This is a Buyer/Planner position planning purchases for component
parts.
Responsibilities:
Purchasing orders with high SKU counts
Purchasing metals, hydraulic parts, hoses, and electronic parts
Purchas Order review re release, reschedules and cancellation
Manage Completeness and Accuracy and Details of Purchase Orders in
the MRP system to ensure proper scheduling and identification of
assigned parts
Detail of PO to include things such as:
Size
Order Codes
Delivery Schedules
Review MRP inventory to reduce obsolescence and excess
Updating all PO's in the MRP system
Collaborate with Suppliers through company portal
Review of price changes - update and escalate issues
accordingly
Review of material flow to support customer orders and
inventory
Must reconfirm pricing, safety stock levels and manage lead
times
Other skill sets:
Working in a fast paced environment.
Very detail oriented
Analysis of demand inputs and supplier capabilities
vis a vie purchase orders
Excellent communications skills
Strong Internal Liason skills
