Job Description:

Controller Our client owns companies in a diverse group of industries. They have a newly created role for a Controller at their manufacturing plant that will be part of the senior leadership team. Responsibilities: --- Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP --- Overseeing and implementing accounting processes --- Manage day to day accounting --- Act as a liaison on accounting matters between the management and corporate office --- Budgeting/forecasting and cash flow reporting --- ME, QE and YE close --- Assist external auditors to prepare annual financial and retirement plan audit report --- Work with the operating companies and identify operational and control improvements --- Assist with MA activities Requirements: --- Degree in Accounting or Finance --- CPA or MBA --- Strong US GAAP knowledge --- 7 years of accounting experience including Supervising --- Excellent communication/presentation skills --- Systems experience --- Auditing, financial reporting, financial statement prep, internal controls --- Budgeting/forecasting experience --- Cost Accounting Why work here: --- International Exposure --- Well established --- Top Notch Benefits --- Highly Innovative --- Heavy exposure to leadership
