Job Description Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description We are seeking individuals for Warehouse Worker positions located in South Bend, IN. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift for most of the day, with the remaining time spent using a pallet jack to move materials within the warehouse. This position requires a commitment to a 12-hour shift schedule, including every other Wednesday. The working hours alternate between 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next. Experience with an RF Scanner is essential as it is used to locate and store materials. Candidates will undergo a forklift skill test during the interview process. The warehouse is a brand new, temperature-controlled facility. Responsibilities Operate a sit-down forklift for the majority of the shift. Use a pallet jack to transport materials within the warehouse. Utilize an RF Scanner to locate and store materials. Stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift. Lift and pull up to 50 pounds. Follow instructions to stage materials correctly. Work over holidays as required. Why Work Here? The facility is brand new and temperature-controlled, providing a comfortable work environment. Shifts are structured with both day and night options across four different schedules, allowing flexibility in work hours. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bend, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
