Job Description:
Job Description Kranze Technology Solutions has recently
established a Research & Development center to develop technologies
in the areas of digital networking, mobile devices, embedded
processors, and other ground user and avionics needs to ultimately
transition to programs and products to be used by Warfighters. KTS
is seeking multiple experienced multi-disciplined engineers to join
the R&D team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Research, explore, and design proof of concept systems with
capabilities providing technology advancements over existing
fielded systems Address unique software engineering problems to
provide creative, innovative solutions to problems that have not
been tackled previously Lead the design and development of
prototype solutions and systems Support field exercises
demonstrating the capabilities and continue to refine solution sets
to meet the customer and Warfighter needs Oversee project
deliverables to customers and Warfighters Provide support to KTS
Engineering to advance solutions or provide technical feedback The
candidate poses a technical and integration background with a solid
understanding of developing battle-space CONOPS and mission
oriented solutions. The candidate has demonstrated integration
experience of various systems (ideally of aircraft systems). The
candidate will work with other members of the R&D team to
define interfaces, communicate with suppliers, customers, and other
sites, and perform overall development. The candidate will also
support lab and field exercises. The candidate must be able to work
with limited supervision, contribute innovative ideas to improve
product capabilities, and lead smaller integration efforts.
Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor---s or Master---s degree
(preferred) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related
field with ten or years of work experience Proficient in the C and
C++ languages Familiarity with object oriented software design and
implementation Hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Experience with Linux Operating System, RHEL experience a plus
Working knowledge of embedded software, operating systems,
interrupt handling and communication drivers Excellent written and
oral communication skills Ability to obtain Security Clearance, for
which the United States Government requires United States
citizenship Preferred skills Experience with embedded operating
systems such as VxWorks (RTOS) and embedded Linux toolkits such as
BusyBox Experience working with the Linux kernel and integrating
drivers Familiarity with the following interfaces including setup
and troubleshooting: Serial (RS-232, RS-422), Networking (TCP/IP,
UDP) and MIL-STD-1553 Experience with encryption and key management
Experience in OpenCL, OpenCV or CUDA programming Familiarity with
