Department: Human ResourcesReports To: 1. HR ManagerJOB SUMMARY: Work as a member of the Human Resource department as the central point of contact for all HR related inquiries pertaining to employee benefits, onboarding, recruiting, training, compliance, and employee relations.Duties and Responsibilities:Employee Benefits

  • Manage & Administer open enrollments for Health, Dental, Vision, FSA, and voluntary insurance coverages
  • Reconciliation of monthly benefits invoicesOnboarding/Off boarding
    • Manage all aspects of the Onboarding process
    • Manage all aspects of the Offboarding processCompliance
      • EEO-1 & 2 reporting, OSHA 300 log posting/recording, FMLA, ADA, ACA, CDL, Personnel Records managementEmployee Relations
        • Answer employee HR related questions, provide guidance on conflict resolution, document meeting summaries, conduct internal investigationsTraining
          • Administer and monitor various training initiatives (safety, job role specific, and state mandated)Recruiting/Talent Mgmt
            • Manage job fairs, posting jobs, scheduling and conducting interviews, creating job descriptions, tracking of employee reviews, goals, etc.Safety/Workmen's Compensation
              • Manage/Administer companywide safety programs (all communication, coordination, and clerical activities)
                • General Safety Program
                • Safety Incentive Program
                • Forklift Certification
                • Process workmen compensation forms and ensure timely communication between insurance adjusters and involved stakeholdersKnowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
                  • Fluency in English/Spanish is required (written and oral)
                  • A high level of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to deliver services in an environment where there is an emphasis on customer service is required. Ability to interact professionally and tactfully with people of different levels of education, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences, and to exhibit a high level of respect to fellow employees.
                  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize is required.
                  • Ability to utilize a computer and keyboard to enter, retrieve, and manipulate data is required.
                  • Ability to effectively use several means of digital communication including documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, and databases.
                  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software is preferred.
                  • Knowledge of general office equipment (fax, copier, telephone, adding machine)
                  • Ability to communicate in both oral and written form
                  • Ability to work as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment
                  • Strong problem-solving skills
                  • Extended periods of sitting and standing may be required
                  • Ability to complete tasks in the appropriate time frame and respond to requests in a timely fashion
                  • Ability to work a full-time schedule with occasional nights and weekendsCredentials and Experience:
                    • 3 years administrative and office support experience is required. Experience in a Human Resources setting required.
                    • Experience using ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
                    • Minimum high school diploma or GED, college degree preferred
                    • Advanced course work in human resources, business administration, employment law preferred
