Geriatric Medicine – Clinical Faculty Rush University Medical
Center Chicago, IL The Division of Geriatric Medicine and
Palliative Care at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally
recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching
hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites
applications from exceptional clinicians for a full-time Geriatric
Medicine Faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor
level. We are seeking a fellowship- trained, board-certified or
board-eligible Geriatrician to join our expanding academic team in
downtown Chicago. This position offers the ideal balance of
clinical excellence and scholarly pursuits for physicians
passionate about advancing geriatric care. The chosen candidate
will join an established, collaborative group of geriatricians in a
supportive academic environment known for clinical innovation and
patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Comprehensive geriatric
care across diverse settings: - Ambulatory clinic serving a robust
patient panel - Inpatient consultation and hospital-based care -
Subacute care in post-acute settings Academic development and
scholarly growth: - Teaching medical students, residents, and
geriatric fellows in clinical settings - Curriculum development for
learners at all levels - Research collaboration with opportunities
for scholarly projects and publications - Program development in
our expanding division with multiple new clinical and educational
initiatives - Call responsibility: Each physician takes call for
their own patients during the week. Weekend and holiday call are
shared equally amongst the faculty members. Ideal Candidate -
Strong clinical excellence across the full spectrum of geriatric
care, especially in outpatient settings and inpatient consultative
service. - Active commitment to academic medicine, including
research, scholarly activity, and educational leadership - Passion
for advancing the field of geriatrics through teaching, mentorship,
and innovation Qualifications - Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an
accredited medical institution - Completion of an accredited
Geriatrics Fellowship program - Board-eligible or Board-certified
in Geriatrics - Valid IL medical license or ability to obtain
licensure - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Rush

base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees.
The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that
are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not
limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training;
education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location;
and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range
is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive
payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional
compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation
allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on

benefits package. Pay Range: $236,000 – $334,000 Rush offers
