seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for an Ortho/Neuro night shift
position requiring WI or compact license, BLS, and NIHSS
certification. Responsibilities • Work in the Ortho/Neuro Unit of a
hospital setting • Patient population includes orthopedic and
neurological cases within a Med/Surg environment • Night shifts
from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • 12-hour shifts with every other weekend
and holiday coverage required • 13-week contract assignment • May
be required to float to other units as needed • Provide direct
nursing care to orthopedic and neurological patients • Collaborate
with interdisciplinary team members and participate in unit
performance improvement activities • Utilize the nursing process
and critical thinking for patient care and safety • Document care
according to standards and develop individualized plans of care •
Facility retains the right to refuse any professional or terminate
assignments for cause • Holiday coverage is required per standard
hospital schedule Requirements • Active WI or compact RN license •
Current BLS/BCLS certification • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
certification required • Minimum of prior Med/Surg experience
preferred • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu Benefits
