Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Harvey, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,794 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Harvey, Illinois, 60426! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year minimum License: Must hold an active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Competence in rhythm strip interpretation - Experience with chronic ventilation - Ability to initiate and maintain cardiac drips such as dobutamine, amiodarone, and cardizem Description: Assess acute changes in patients and work in a fast-paced environment. Chronic ventilation experience is required. The RN must be competent in rhythm strip interpretation. Passing an EKG strip test during orientation is required. Prefer competence in initiating and maintaining cardiac drips such as dobutamine, amiodarone, and cardizem. Patient ratios for RN are generally 1:6 but may increase to 1:6 at times. Support staff may include CNAs with a typical ratio of 10-12 patients. The unit commonly treats patients with diagnoses including MI, arrhythmia, CVA, syncope, DKA, CHF, post pacemaker, stent, EP study, COVID, and ESRD. Special procedures and unit details require current competency in rhythm strip interpretation.
