School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
position is available for a Behavior Specialist supporting k-4th
grade students in an elementary school setting near Wilmette, IL.
This contract role involves managing a caseload focused on behavior
interventions and support, providing services to enhance student
success and well-being. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement
behavior plans tailored to individual student needs - Collaborate
with teachers, parents, and support staff to address behavioral
challenges - Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to guide
intervention strategies - Support positive behavioral outcomes in
the classroom and school environment - Participate in team meetings
and provide professional guidance on behavior management
Qualifications: - Must hold an Illinois Professional Educator
License (PEL) with an endorsement in special education (LBS1 and/or
LBS2) or school psychology - Experience working with
elementary-aged students, preferably K-4th grade - Strong skills in
behavior assessment and intervention techniques - Excellent
communication and collaboration abilities - Ability to manage
caseload and documentation efficiently Location: - Near Wilmette,

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.00 to $90.00.
