Job Description My name is Caroline and I am a Healthcare Recruiter who is here to help you find your next position! I have a great client actively hiring a permanent Mobile X-Ray Tech in Des Plaines, IL . Here is more information: The company: Mobile imaging company providing services to nursing homes, health care facilities, etc. Perfect mix of autonomy and teamwork Great benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, 8 paid holidays, 401k plan, EAP) Responsibilities: Perform and process X Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation. Transport and unload portable X Ray equipment from company-provided vehicle and take into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician. Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x ray images. Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. Scan exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol. Communicate regularly, efficiently, and professionally with peers, management, dispatch department, and clients.
