Respiratory Care Practitioner for a local contract job in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:
Respiratory Care Practitioner - Discipline: Allied Health
Professional - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36
hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local
Contract Responsibilities Include: - Administering respiratory
treatments and diagnostics per physician orders - Delivering
medications via the cardiopulmonary route - Managing ventilators
and life support systems - Performing bronchopulmonary hygiene and
patient education - Maintaining both natural and artificial airways
- Participating in CPR and emergency response - Working in
alignment with Froedtert Health’s mission and values - Other duties
as assigned. Required Qualifications: - Associate’s Degree from a
CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program - Current Wisconsin RCP
License - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NBRC - BLS &
ACLS certifications - NRP certification (required for CHD,
Froedtert West Bend or Menomonee Falls locations) - Minimum 1 year
of clinical or educational experience in general and critical care
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care -
2 years hospital experience - Membership in AARC and WSRC About
