Are you ready for your next great opportunity? Our client is a $1 billion plus enterprise software company, growing and extremely profitable!
We are looking for an Enterprise Software Sales Manager in a key territory for the manufacturing vertical. This person will successfully manage, direct and mentor a high impact sales team in the Western U.S.
On target compensation will be in the $325,000 range with escalators above plan and no commision cap.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, mentor and direct a team of enterprise software sales professionals
  • Drive revenue to exceed sales goals within the region
  • Manage sales forecast and set performance goals accordingly
  • Ensure the sales team is trained on solutions and appropriate sales methodology
  • Advise sales personnel and partners concerning sales and advertising strategies
  • Assign sales territory and accounts to sales team
  • Represent company at trade association meetings and trade shows to promote product
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives
  • Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition
  • Participate in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives
  • Recruit, Interview, hire and train new sales representatives to grow the business
  • Advise and assist in territory and account planning
    Requirements:
    • 6 to 8 years' of Enterprise Software Sales Leadership experience required
    • Success with Enterprise Software companies including Plex, QAD, Epicor, IQMS, Infor, Oracle and SAP
    • Proven successful track record in sales to the manufacturing vertical
    • Proven successful track record selling Mid-range ERP software
    • Excellent organization, interpersonal, time management and teamwork skills
    • Superior communication skills with ability to build relationships at multiple levels to work cross organizationally toward solutions; excellent leadership and consensus building skills
    • Ability to communicate complex technical information
    • Sound knowledge of manufacturing operations, accounting and general business activities
    • Familiar with business strategies, as well as their associated metrics
    • Proficient with sales tracking software
    • Influencing and change management skills
    • Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred
    • Ability to travel up to 60%
