Join a Global Security Leader! ACTS - Aviation Security has an
immediate full-time opening for a Director, Business Development.
ACTS is the US subsidiary of ICTS Europe, a globally renowned
security organization with over 16,000 security professionals

provision of aviation security and customer experience solutions.
This newly created role, reporting to the CEO, will be responsible
for the continued growth of ACTS in the airport security space and
successful diversification into the general security market. This
is an exciting opportunity for a proven security services business
development professional, ready to play a leadership role that
results in continued growth and expansion of ACTS in the United
States. For the right high-potential candidate, this role offers

The ideal candidate will lead business development activities from
pipeline development through contract award and operation. They
will have proven business development success in new markets and
bring existing potential customer relationships and networks in
general security. Must be a highly motivated, entrepreneurial,

Summary : The Director of Business Development (DBD) serves as the
internal and external point of contact for industry expertise and
knowledge regarding the contract security market. Primarily focused
on the development of new business, the DBD will also be
responsible for supporting operations with the development of
service delivery enhancements while nurturing existing client
relationships, as well as serving as the organization liaison to
associations and influencers. Individual's performance will be
evaluated based on, but not limited to, achieving sales goals and
objectives and providing quality customer service. The Director of
Business Development oversees market strategy development, customer
service initiatives, marketing, brand management, internet and
digital media, communications and public relations, and industry
engagement and event planning. Responsible for the planning,
leading, organizing, communicating and the management of business
development activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : --
Build and deliver a high-performing commercial plan which includes,
revenue growth and retention, marketing, business development and
service excellence. -- Take responsibility for the identification
of suitable contract security and airport security tenders. --
Develop compliant tender proposals in the contract and airport
security space. -- Develop proposed pricing, for CEO approval, for
potential business - accurately reflecting costs, competitive
dynamics and company strategy to price optimally. -- Develop and
implement business development plans to achieve organizational
growth goals. -- Create, introduce and manage strategies and
processes to understand the contract security market, trends and
influences on customer buying. -- Work with the CEO to build out a
reliable revenue and sales forecasting model. -- Implement an
efficient CRM system to identify and manage pipeline opportunities
as well as the customer relationship. -- Manage all aspects of the
business development process, including lead generation, prospect
development, proposals, pricing, presentations, and contract
negotiations. -- Provide advice on corporate strategy and tactics
as issues emerge and current events unfold within the industry. --
Develop, qualify, and cultivate leads for new business through
marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, advertising,
conferences, speaker series, etc. -- Consult and guide prospects
and customers through operational expertise and experience. --
Develop and implement business development procedures designed to
identify growth opportunities. -- Conceive, write, and present the
themes and programs to win new business. -- Monitor and report on
lead generation and opportunity pursuit. -- Promote the
organization externally to trade associations, current and
prospective. -- Serve as spokesperson for the organization in the
contract security market, developing and executing a strategic,
well-integrated internal and external communications plan. --
Prepare communication, marketing and community relations strategy
and objectives identifying goals and activities that increase
visibility, enhance and maintain a positive image and ensures the
organization is an active and effective partner in operational
markets. -- Serve on sales, transition and delivery teams as a
resource of best practices. -- Maximize the margin of awarded
business over the life of the contract, including ensuring all
terms complied with and appropriate price adjustments are made in a
timely fashion. Job Requirements:Other Requirements:-- A track
record of business development success in the contract security
market.-- Exceptional relationship building skills and
experience.-- Ability to travel as need in the United States to
customer sites-- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
(i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) required.-- Demonstrated ability
to work in and facilitate in a team-oriented management environment
and to help identify and solve problems.-- Excellent interpersonal
and communication skills, including highly effective written and
oral delivery.-- Ability to get along with other employees, follows
directions, work under stress and continuously improve.-- Ability
to establish and maintain effective working relationships with
colleagues, customers, supervisors and the general public.--
Ability to deal with internal and external customers and to ensure
compliance with fair employment practices and perform multiple
tasks in a timely, courteous and professional manner.-- Proven
ability to effectively network in high level public relations
activities.
