The individual will have responsibility to create process improvement roadmaps for key IBP process streams and will be responsible to train and align key stakeholders and cross functional team members. IBP process streams include supporting the health of the division's portfolio pipeline, commercial demand management and ensuring supply continuity. Further responsibilities include helping define and create key performance metrics to track business health and tracking to Abbott Molecular' s short- and long-term business objectives. This position reports to the Director of Integrated Business Planning at Abbott Molecular.WHAT YOU'LL DO:* Manage the execution of the Division Integrated Business Planning Monthly Process.* Ensure the Plan and OEM financial requirements are visible and reconciled through each of the process steps and aligned and validated through coordination with Division Finance.* Develop alternatives to strategic business problems and recommend action plans that will address the business issues and pain points* Support the Division's short- and long-term business objectives by building robust process improvement plans by key IBP process streams* The process inputs are generated from the following division processes: * Portfolio Management Review - Chaired by R&D and Marketing* Demand Management Review - Chaired by Commercial Excellence* Supply Management Review - Chaired by Operations/Supply Chain* Integrated Reconciliation - Chaired by PMO* The outputs will support the Integrated Reconciliation process within IBP and ultimately the senior management decision forum to discuss business elevations, strategic planning and financial impacts to the division.* Ensure the Integrated Business Planning Process meets the intent of its Design and recommend track key KPIs within IBP process reviews.* Analyze complex problems and apply critical thought to identify potential solutions. * Prepares reports and presents progress to management.* Critical thought leader who is creative in solving and/or supporting complex issues.* Demonstrate excellent communication skills in person, over the phone, via email, and across teams. Communicate complex topics in succinct and practical terms.* Comfortable at addressing senior management (internal and external) in addition to coordinating at the team and individual level.* Collaborate well across a variety of global organizations and cultures.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING Required* Bachelor's degree (--10 years)* Ideally 1 years' experience in a healthcare field* Prior project management experiencePreferred:* BA/BS Finance, Marketing, Operation/Supply Chain* MBA degree preferred* Knowledge and experience in both diagnostic and pharmaceutical development, clinical validations, and regulatory submissions.* Experience in leading projects in a matrixed organization and in delivering results using influence without authority* Prior project management experience, include the use of tools for creating and managing schedules, budgets, and resource plans* Financial acumen with experience developing business cases, net present value analyses, etc. Experience with scenario planning as part of problem-solving process.WHAT WE OFFER At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
