Job Description:
Manufacturing Engineering Shop Intern Location: Johnson Creek,
WI Employment Type : 1st shift, 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday
Authorization : Applicants must be Authorized to work in the U.S
without sponsorship. Job Responsibilities * Provide hands-on
technical support to machinists, including troubleshooting program
issues and assisting with tool selection. * Prepare machines for
production by setting up tooling, securing work pieces, and
verifying machine readiness. * Train and mentor machine operators
on proper machine operation, processes, and best practices. *
Support and improve machining changeovers by standardizing
processes and reducing downtime. * Identify and implement
continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency,
quality, and productivity. * Maintain tooling inventory, storage,
and documentation to support consistent, high-quality production. *
Work closely with supervisors, leads, and engineering to resolve
machining and quality issues. Qualifications * 5 years of hands-on
experience in machining, fabricating, welding, and metal finishing.
* Experience with multi-axis CNC lathe and mill setup. *
Proficiency with Mastercam (Version 2020 or newer) preferred. *
Working knowledge of G-code programming and AutoCAD preferred. *
Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools for documentation and
communication. * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving
skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a
