Service 1 are currently seeking a full-time Level A Auto Technician
to join our automotive team. More Details: Competitive Pay! Work
Schedule: This is a full-time automotive position based in Chicago.

opportunities Uniforms WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING: As a Level A
Auto Technician, you will work independently on complex diagnostics
and advanced repairs. Your day will involve using vehicle-generated
data and scan tool outputs to troubleshoot issues accurately and
efficiently. You will perform driveline repairs on transmissions,
differentials, and drive shafts, and utilize tools such as
oscilloscopes for electrical and mechanical diagnostics. You will
regularly diagnose and repair CAN-bus communication systems and
will confidently complete drivability diagnostics on the majority
of vehicles that come through the shop. In addition to technical
responsibilities, you will serve as a mentor to junior technicians
by sharing expertise and supporting their growth. Accurate
documentation of diagnostics and repairs, effective communication
with service advisors, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace
will also be central to your role. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LEVEL A
AUTO TECHNICIAN: 5 years of total technician experience, including
36 – 48 months at A-Level or equivalent advanced technician role
Strong ability to interpret vehicle data and perform diagnostics
using modern scan tools and scopes Experience repairing driveline
and drivetrain components Proficiency with CAN bus system
diagnostics and troubleshooting Ability to mentor and support
junior technicians as a team player EPA Section 609 certification
or willingness to obtain Valid driver's license with a clean record
Professional-grade tool set ASE certifications are preferred but
