EXPERIENCE **Are you looking for a new challenge within one of
Illinois's most awarded IT solutions and services providers? This
highly successful organisation are looking for an experienced Tier
II Technical Engineer to join their expanding IT support network.
Your main responsibilities will include looking after a range of
Chicago based clientele within industries from Education and Retail
to Construction and Professional services.Responsibilities:**
Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software**
Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or
electronically** Track time, customer issues and resolutions**
Occasionally go onsite to clients to troubleshoot issues and deploy
hardwareTechnical Requirements:** Troubleshooting small network
VLAN issues ** Basic LAN to WAN firewall rules (such as domain, IP,
service whitelisting)** Knows how to create/edit printer & drive
map group policies ** Troubleshoot email issues (such as Outlook
not working)** Setup and deploy computers, including migrating data
from old to new computer ** Microsoft 365 end user setup &
troubleshooting** Remote access/Client VPN user setup &
connectivity troubleshooting** Wi-Fi connectivity issues**
Troubleshooting DNS filtering service issues (such as OpenDNS)**
Setup & troubleshooting printer/scanner issues (including over
Remote desktop sessions)Other Requirements:** Highly flexible and
easily adapts to a constantly changing list of priorities **
Prefers and thrives in a fast-paced work environment**
Customer-friendly and team player attitude.** Reliable personal
transportation and a valid driver's license for use in traveling to
clients** Previous MSP experience a huge plusThe client is looking
