Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An educational opportunity is available for a dedicated
Special Education Teacher to support students across K-12th grades
for the 2025/2026 school year in Dekalb, IL. This full-time
contract position invites passionate educators who thrive in
dynamic, student-focused environments to contribute to academic
growth and inclusive learning. Key responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
tailored to the diverse needs of special education students.
Collaborating with general education teachers, families, and
specialists to create supportive and adaptive learning experiences.
Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to optimize
educational outcomes. Maintaining accurate documentation and
compliance with federal and state education regulations. Fostering
an inclusive classroom culture that encourages student engagement
and development. Qualifications and experience desired: Valid
teaching certification in Special Education. Experience educating
students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Strong knowledge of
special education laws, instructional practices, and behavior
management techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration
skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
