Job Description:
Special Education Teachers for 2025-2026 School Year Southside
Chicago school seeks Licensed (LBSI or II) Special Education
teachers. Required Qualifications: An active Illinois Special
Education license is required for this position. Hold Illinois PEL
(Professional Educator License) in Special Education LBSI / II).
Experience working collaboratively in a student-centered
environment. 1-2 years’ experience a plus. New grads will be
considered. Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.
Responsibilities: Teach as part of a department or grade level team
as mutually agreed.K-5th grade classrooms avaialb Able to implement
and support school policies, participate in orientations, meetings
(staff and parent) and other conferences/institute days as
directed. Implement school education programs and philosophy.
Monday-Friday as per school schedule. Full time (limited part time
opportunities available). Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Work Hours: Follow school hours Monday-Friday; depending on the
building’s hours. @35 hours/week. Salary and Benefits: $43/hr for
new grad, other salary based upon experience. Weekly pay. Full time
