Position Summary Under the direction of the Principals and Project
Manager, the Construction Estimator/Buyer is responsible for
developing project scopes, preparing construction estimates, and
supporting project planning activities. This role plays a key part
in coordinating materials, subcontractors, pricing, and schedules
to ensure projects are executed efficiently and in alignment with
contract requirements. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with
Principals and the Project Manager to define project scope and
procure subcontractor bids. Assist in obtaining up-to-date material
pricing and cost data. Support material sourcing, implementation,
and distribution of procurement documents. Prepare detailed scopes
of work for contracts, change orders, and new project
opportunities. Develop and maintain project schedules. Support
project planning and cost-control strategies. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or
related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Strong
written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to work
collaboratively in a team environment while also managing
independent tasks. Energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to
taking ownership of responsibilities. Ability to make sound
decisions under tight deadlines. High level of integrity and
professionalism, with a focus on exceeding customer
expectations.
