You will learn all the phases of the collision repair process with help from mentors along the way. During this training we will decide on a specialty for you to focus on. You will take training from industry specialists and become certified in this specialty. With dedication and focus, you can attain the title of full technician in just two years. Here is a list of some of the skills you will learn along the way: Diagnostic Trouble Code scanning Disassembly and reassembly of damaged body panels and related components Disassembly and reassembly of interior trim and components Body and structural measurement verification Steering and suspension inspection and repair A/C and heating system inspection and repair Vehicle ADAS inspection and calibration Minor metal and plastic repair And more What you will need Well, the good news is you don't need much more than a desire to the become the best technician you can. Here are the few requirements we have: Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record Ability to stoop, bend and kneel, push and pull Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) Standing, sitting and walking Performing repetitive motions Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Prior experience with hand tools That said, there are some nice-to-have qualifications and experience: High School diploma Vocation School degree or certification Prior experience working in a trade or the collision industry I-CAR, ASE training or other industry training What you will get Be a team member for a collision facility dedicated to providing the highest quality repair to its customers and the best to their staff.
