levels, open to candidates with a minimum of 7 years of
relationship management experience. The successful candidate will
be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their
experience. Please note that the salary range provided corresponds
to the lowest level of the position posted. The Freight
Relationship Manager is responsible for leading and strengthening
client relationships within the assigned business segment and/or
geographic region. Working directly and through Account
Representatives, this role drives growth by acquiring new business,
expanding existing relationships, and optimizing portfolio
performance. The ideal candidate combines strategic relationship
management with consultative sales expertise to deliver exceptional
value to clients and the organization. Key Responsibilities: Client
Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for
senior leadership at assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction and
long-term retention. Manage non-credit risk across the customer
portfolio to maintain compliance and mitigate exposure. Business
Development & Growth: Prospect and secure new business
opportunities to increase spend volume and revenue. Expand existing
customer relationships through cross-selling and upselling of bank
products and services. Monitor profitability and implement
strategies to enhance financial performance. Consultative Sales &
Advisory: Provide tailored, consultative advice to clients to
support their business objectives. Identify client needs and
deliver solutions across all product groups. Make appropriate
referrals to internal partners for specialized services. Portfolio
Optimization: Drive growth through program optimization initiatives
and strategic planning. Analyze portfolio performance and recommend
improvements to maximize results. 30-40% travel required Basic
Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Seven to ten years of relationship management experience Preferred
Skills/Experience Demonstrated success in relationship management
and consultative sales within the freight or logistics industries.
Strong understanding of financial products, risk management
principles, and their application to client solutions. Proven
sales, business development, and relationship?expansion
capabilities with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on growth
opportunities. Broad knowledge of banking products and services,
with the ability to leverage offerings to deepen client
relationships and drive revenue. Excellent communication,
negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence
and engage audiences. Strong analytical and problem?solving
abilities to assess client needs and develop effective solutions.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
across teams, stakeholders, and external partners to achieve
business objectives. Location expectations This role requires
working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package,

eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,095.00 - $130,700.00
