Accounting Assistant: A/P
Feldco Roofing, Windows, Siding, & Doors located in Des Plaines, IL is looking for the right candidate to fill an Accounting Assistant role.
Job Summary:
Feldco's Accounting Department is looking for an Accounting Assistant. This individual will have at least 2 years experience in the accounts payable function. This is an office role that requires constant computer work. This individual must be comfortable using computer systems and be intermediate in MS Excel. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus. Candidate must also be proficient in using general ledger and CRM computer systems. Position Responsibilities:

• 
  Manage top-to-bottom accounts payable workflows:
  
  
• 
  Review invoices for appropriate approvals and code to proper GL accounts
  
  
• 
  Enter approved invoices in payables vendor module within the accounting system
  
  
• 
  Make weekly disbursements via check runs, credit cards, and ACH payments based on payment terms
  
  
• 
  Work with receivables customer module to create customer invoices, record receipts, issue credit memos and refunds while matching transaction flow to the CRM.
  
  
• 
  Record daily receipts and deposits.
  
  
  Position Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    2+ years of bookkeeping experience, specifically A/P
    
    
  • 
    Proficient in MS Excel
    
    
  • 
    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus
    
    
  • 
    Detailed oriented, organized and efficient.
    
    
  •
