Every building needs a roof This Internal Auditor position offers strong growth potential.The Internal Auditor will be responsible for assisting the Director of Internal Audit in providing internal audit coverage to all operating units serving as the direct point of contact with the operating units on their assigned audits.The Internal Auditor will provide audit services including:Review of compliance with financial policiesReview and testing of transaction processing.Assessment of revenue recognition practices includingproject budget adjustmentsover under billed statuscost of completion percentage to ensure accuracy of earned revenue and profit as reported.The position will interact with operating units, regional accounting, and corporate accounting.10-15% travelRequirements for the Internal Auditor include:Bachelor s degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 3 or more years of progressive construction industry related experience in accounting or auditingProject accounting experience is idealApplied working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting procedures, and auditing standardsSolid communication and skills to adapt and effectively work with varying styles across multiple operating units to successfully complete the audit requirements.Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and proceduresProficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)Tecta offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, etc.
