Business Analyst - Accounting / Finance Acumen

Job Description:

At E78, we assist our clients in -finding just the right candidates to fit their needs! They are currently seeking a Business Analyst to support a major system integration effort that will involve a large migration of billing and financial systems. - Will work -with key business stakeholders to analyze requirements and document the functional requirements for our client. - To be successful in this role you will be meeting on-site senior management located in Des Plaines, IL. - Please be available to be on-site a minimum of two (2) days per week. - This will be a minimum of 6 month -project and likely extend to 12 months plus!

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes
Support platform migration (billing / finance)
Experience from a Business Analysis -perspective in an Agile environment
Ability to push back on Finance Teams and Management when necessary
Develop journal entry requirements and understand the financial workflows
Develop process flows and documentation
Map out journal entries for client proprietary -platforms

Qualifications
- Accounting background - knowledgeable of basic accounting principles including development of Journal entry requirements
- Experience working with Stakeholders and Senior Management to translate business user requirements in technical requirements
- Understands finance and can translate business requirements into technical requirements. - Documentation tools including: Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience supporting integration with finance systems
- Experience migrating platforms (financial systems)
- Experience with journal entries
- Leasing experience a plus
