Leading global manufacturing and engineering company is seeking to add an Accounting Analyst to their team. This company operates in 50 countries. You will work alongside the Accounting Manager to perform month close activities as well as some analytical projects. The organization is team-oriented, collaborative, and is seeking an individual that can operate in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.

What you will perform in the role:
Maintains accounting controls by auditing compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Writes and recommends policies and procedures;
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information;
Maintains financial security by following accounting policies and internal controls;
Applies continuous improvement techniques and methods to internal processes and systems.
Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting complex accounting policies and regulations;
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Qualifications for Position
2-5 years' experience in Accounting
Manufacturing Background
BA in Accounting
Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
Strong analytical and computer skills - especially with MS Office applications such as Excel
