Job Description:
Staff Accountant Our client in the Rosemont are is seeking a
temp to hire Staff Accountant. Support the Accounting Manager and
Controller with day to day accounting activities including month
end close, account and bank reconciliations, audit and sales and
use tax. Key Responsibilities* Account reconciliations including
bank accounts, inventory, fixed asset and balance sheet accounts*
Prepare and post journal entries for the monthly close cycle.*
Handle intercompany account recs and journal entries* Cross-train
with and serve as backup for both Accounts Payable and Accounts
Receivable functions.* Assist in company-wide audit and compliance
including preparing schedules for quarterly and annual audit*
Handle Sales and Use Tax Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in
Accounting* Minimum of 2+ years of experience * Intermediate Excel
including pivot tables and v-look-ups
